Have you ever felt as if your sin was so bad that you just might be beyond forgiveness? Do you have one sin that just keeps repeating itself over and over in your life? Your heart keeps telling you that you have gone too far.  If this is a reflection of you, then your thoughts have wandered onto enemy territory, where the evil one waits to strip you of every ounce of hope.

This Psalm is for all of who sin, grieve the sin, and still sin. But with the Lord, the Spirit gently whispers “there is hope.” And if you, like the Psalmist, know your Lord well, you know that with Him there IS forgiveness of sin. That is the beauty of this well loved Psalm.  It’s all about Him.  It’s all about Hope.

We take the focus off ourselves and we hope.  He offers us a love that never fails, a grace that extends beyond our deepest wound, and a life that can be fully redeemed.  Not just redeemed, but overflowing with redemption and assurance.
